Kristi House-Project GOLD in partnership with Miami Community team up for, “Miami Takes a Stand Against Child Sex Trafficking”. A local campaign to bring awareness and prevention to the commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC) in Miami-Dade County.

On Tuesday, September 22nd, 2020, Miami residents will have an opportunity to take a pledge in the fight to stop Child Sex Trafficking in our community by attending a webinar taught by Kristi House-Project GOLD.

Kristi House is the only Child Advocacy Center (CAC) in Miami-Dade County. Their mission is to eradicate child abuse and sex trafficking. Project GOLD brought the legal and provider community together around the issue of child sex trafficking in 2007, and has been a leader nationally on the issue. The Project GOLD Drop In Center uses a strengths-based, survivor-led approach to provide health, social and legal services linkages, mental health support and educational enrichment to sexually exploited girls. Kristi House partners with Ark of Freedom Alliance with the help of funding by the U.S. Department of Justice to provide outreach and services to LGBTQ youth overcoming sex trafficking
